    Learn from the award-winning coaching staff about recruiting, training, and motivating the team. Hear team members describe their daily routine, team culture, mental preparation to perform under intense scrutiny, how they perfect their skills to the level of an art form, and how they balance the demands of the team and school. 

    The Men’s Gymnastics program at The University of Michigan trains elite athletes who deliver stunning performances not only at college meets, but also on national and international stages— including the Olympics. In April 2025, the Men’s Team won the Big 10 championship for the fifth consecutive year, and then won the NCAA championship. Head Coach Yuan Xiao has been named Big 10 Coach of the Year for the fifth consecutive year and National Coach of the Year.
