OLLI Membership

You must be a minimum of 50 years of age to become an OLLI member.

OLLI Membership is for one calendar year, from September 1 - August 31. Membership is required for most OLLI events and activities. See membership pricing options below.

To join OLLI by filling out a "paper form", download the OLLI Membership Application as a PDF. Then print it, fill it out, and send it to OLLI by U.S. Mail to 2401 Plymouth Road, Suite C, Ann Arbor, MI 48105-2193.

The All-Inclusive Membership is at a price of $300 for the year. This option includes access to all lectures, study groups, shared interest groups and other events OLLI offers.
Here are the rules for the All-Inclusive Membership:

◆ You do need to still register for each event.
◆ You need to pay the full price of any out-of- town trips.
◆ If a study group or shared interest group charges any extra fees (for example, for a book), you will have to pay the extra fee.
◆ The All-Inclusive Members do not have any priority for participation in study groups, shared interest groups or other events (i.e.,they must be open and available for new members at the time you register for them).

Our Basic Membership price will be $35 for the year. The Basic Membership will work like the OLLI membership in past years—i.e., you choose which lectures, study groups, shared interest groups and other events you want. Pay for each of them when you register, at the price listed for them in the catalog and on the website.

*Enhanced Annual Membership

As an alternative to the Basic Membership, you can opt to purchase an Enhanced Membership, at a price of $100 for the year. You will still choose which lectures, study groups, shared interest groups, etc., you want, and register for them. However, unlike the Basic Membership, you will receive a discount of $5 for each lecture, study group, shared interest group or other event from the price listed in the catalog. The discount will be applied automatically when you register on the website.

This level of membership will be attractive to anyone who signs up for 13 or more different events during the year. The total lecture discount cannot exceed $50, and only one discount of $5 is applied to any lecture package (since the packages are already discounted).

Scholarships are available for those 50+ seeking lifelong learning. We operate our scholarships on an honor system. Up to ten offerings excluding lecture series packages and in-person out of town trips.
